Job Title: Pharmacist - Inpatient

Description:

Certifications Required: BLS, Wisconsin license (will accept ACT 10)
Candidates must be comfortable with standard pediatric orders due to the pediatric component of the role.
Common duties include order verification, product check and release, and remote sterile compounding verification.
Clinical tasks involve IV to PO conversions, renal dose review, and aminoglycoside and anticoagulation dosing.
Pharmacy Technicians are staffed 24 hours in sterile compounding and nonsterile roles.
Shifts are on a block schedule with evening and overnight roles of 7 on and 70 off.
Day shifts are 8 hours with staggered starts beginning at 0600.
Weekend requirements are up to every other weekend, and holiday requirements are rotating.
There is no on-call requirement, but call-in may be requested for sick calls.
The medication dispensing system includes Omnicell ADMs, Cerner EMR, and Pharmacy Keeper for compounding and remote verification.
Business casual dress code is required unless entering a sterile environment, where facility scrubs are provided in navy.
Typical workweek begins on Wednesday.
