Schedule:  
Shift  -Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Monday & Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
-Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Thursday & Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

About the Role:
Baxter is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Worker (Operator I) to join our Final Assembly team on a temporary weekend shift. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for those interested in manufacturing high-quality medical devices in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test medical devices, equipment, and components per established SOPs and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, automated machinery, and power tools as required.
• Prepare and organize kits with the necessary components and materials for efficient assembly.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure product quality by following work instructions and escalating any quality issues.
• Package, label, and prepare products and kits for shipment or storage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, corporate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work assigned weekend shifts.
• Prior assembly or production experience in a regulated environment (GMP, FDA) is preferred, but not required.
