Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for telemetry unit coverage. The role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring cardiac activity, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for telemetry patients.
  
  
• 
  Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to arrhythmias or abnormal findings.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety standards, including adherence to licensing and certification requirements.
  
  
• 
  Float within the hospital as needed, following specialty-specific floating policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active PA or Compact RN license required at submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of relevant Telemetry nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and ACLS certifications, maintained and valid at the time of employment.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work every other holiday and flexible within the hospital's float policies.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
