Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients; interpret and record electronic displays. Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptoms. Qualifications 1–2 years of recent acute care experience; open to RN candidates meeting this timeframe. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift comfortably up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Strong stress‑management skills and the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Must hold BLS certification (and ACLS) and possess a minimum of one year of RN licensure. Additional Requirements BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of RN license. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
