Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) – Mount Vernon, WA | Travel - temporary assignment | Start 09/14/2026 | 13 weeks | $3,255 to $3,390 per week | 40 guaranteed hours | 4x10-hour shifts
This travel assignment is in a hospital-based cath lab setting. The role requires flexibility to adapt to patient needs and procedural flow, with on-site call requirements as cases dictate.

Responsibilities
- Perform interventional cardiovascular procedures under supervision, including imaging guidance and device assistance in the cath lab
- Operate and monitor fluoroscopy and adjunct equipment, ensuring proper setup, troubleshooting, and safety
- Assist the surgical team with patient preparation, sterile technique, and device handling during procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; document findings and activities in the electronic medical record
- Support radiation safety practices, patient positioning, and room turnover between cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to maintain procedural efficiency and patient safety

Requirements
- Current WA Radiology Tech license
- ARRT certification (Radiography)
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float to related areas as needed
- Schedule availability for 4x10-hour shifts with potential to stay late and participate in on-call duties
- Excellent patient-care and communication skills; ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
