Job Title: SHIFT LEADER/MANAGER ASSISTANT Job Location: Alexandria, VA Job Category: Food / Beverage Description: Shift Leader/Manager Assistant – AM/PM The Skrimp Shack Mount Vernon,7700E Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306 (Next to Home Depot) Position Summary This is an on hands and working position. As a Shift Leader/Manager Assistant it is your responsibility to ensure employees perform a variety of tasks, from preparing food, answering questions, serving, running staff, and making sure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures. You must always maintain good customer service. General Requirements Ability to Coach - To positively guide to improve performance and focuses for each member of the team. Honesty - being truthful and accountable with strong moral principles Integrity - doing the right thing whether it benefits you or not and no matter whom is present Dependable - shows up for work on time and apply company policies Strong math comprehension skills Strong reading and writing skills Team Player - foster an inclusive team environment Flexible schedule including nights and Saturdays Ability to stand for prolong periods of time Maintain store to standards including stocking and cleaning Ability to lift 35lbs.
