Practice Manager – Banfield Pet Hospital Veterinary Practice Managers play a pivotal role in our hospitals. Your medical practice management skills will be put to use to drive business results, and your people leadership skills will help develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Job Summary In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager manages day‑to‑day operations so the veterinary medical team can focus on delivering the highest quality care. Key Responsibilities Interview, hire and develop associates. Train associates on client education about wellness plans and hospital services. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budgeting and planning for the hospital. Manage daily operations and scheduling. Coordinate time off and continuing education for associates. Ensure compliance with health care and safety regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline preferred; equivalent education, training, or experience acceptable. Three years of related experience, including direct supervisory responsibilities such as hiring and associate development. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Problem‑solving and conflict‑management experience. Leadership and analytical know‑how. Knowledge of veterinary or healthcare operations is a plus. Preferred Competencies Understanding of the Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, Freedom. Experience in wage or budget management. Proficiency in scheduling software and continuing education programs. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $70,204.30 to $101,406.21. Pay varies by experience, skills, education, and location.
