Role Description This is a full-time or part-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role located in Livonia, MI. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric communication and language disorders, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes behavior analysts, OTs, counselors, PTs, and other therapists. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct speech therapy services in a structured yet child-centered setting. The role involves regular documentation of progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating treatment goals and outcomes with caregivers and team members. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in family education, contribute to interdisciplinary care planning, and support the integration of speech and language goals into all other therapy programs. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in speech pathology, with experience providing evidence-based interventions for pediatric populations. Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders, including creating individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. Candidates should possess knowledge and clinical skills related to AAC and developmental language and speech milestones Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Michigan. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or active pursuit of certification, preferred. Experience working with children diagnosed with autism and familiarity with collaborative work in ABA or related therapeutic settings is highly beneficial.
