Material Handler IIDPP is seeking a Material Handler II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.Work Location: Onsite in San Diego, CADuration: 6 monthsTerms: W2 ContractWork Authorization: US CitizenResponsibilities:Loads, unloads, and convey materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.Required Qualifications:Must be able to lift 50lbs to un-assisted.Must have a valid California Driver's license.Must be able sit, stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time.Must be able to operate a delivery vehicle.Previous warehousing experience.U.S. Citizenship required.Preferred Qualifications:Previous SAP/MRP system experience.Forklift experience.Shipping/Packaging to Mil Spec experience.The ability to obtain and retain a security clearance.Interested?
