Adam Zayed founded Zayed Law Offices in 2009 with the intention of re-writing the standard for personal injury representation. Your role is an important part of realizing this dream and representing clients in a time when they are hurting and need support. Position Overview: The Website Engineer will lead firm-wide digital initiatives such as creating new websites, overseeing website strategy, and increasing SEO and AEO rankings and visibility. This individual will play a central role in shaping the digital experience for Zayed Law Offices’ brand and practice areas, ensuring that every touchpoint supports client growth, visibility, and engagement. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure brand standards across all websites to increase lead acquisition. Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive digital strategies that drive web traffic, conversions, and brand awareness. Prolific development of website properties, optimizing as part of a national strategy. Oversee SEO/SEM efforts, ensuring all content aligns with best practices for organic visibility and paid performance. Lead projects involving website optimization, UX improvements, and page layout strategy. Manage multiple work streams simultaneously, prioritizing projects and deadlines effectively. Maintain a consistent and professional digital presence across all ZLO platforms and sites. Create content to post on websites to increase visibility and ranking Ensure all links and backlinks work appropriately and make sense for user experience Complete monthly audit of all sites to ensure accuracy Create new websites as assigned with SEO, visibility and UI/UX matching the standards of other websites Execute additional tasks and requests assigned by AJZ to support firm growth and national positioning. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Relevant Job Skills and Abilities: Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex legal concepts into engaging, accessible content. Highly organized, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage several concurrent projects. Expert knowledge of website design principles, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) best practices. Strong proficiency with WordPress, APEX, React, or similar content management system. Working knowledge of responsive web development. Advanced understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and website performance optimization. Familiarity with AI-driven search optimization (AEO) and emerging search technologies. Experience using SEO and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar tools. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and page mockups. Ability to create and optimize graphics to support user interface. Knowledge of website hosting environments, DNS management, certificates, and website security best practices. Experience optimizing websites for lead generation and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Ability to troubleshoot website issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with marketing, leadership, developers, and third-party vendors. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance and brand consistency. Education and/or Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in website development, UX/UI design, digital strategy, or technical SEO. Physical Demands of the Job: While performing job duties, staff may be sitting for an extended period of time. Job responsibilities may also require occasional lifting up to 10 lbs. Frequent use of telephone and computer is required. Health Insurance coverage is available 60 days after hire. New Employees receive Zayed Law Offices clothing after 4 weeks of employment. PTO, both vacation and sick days are available after 6 months of employment. Annual paid time off consists of 2 weeks of vacation, 2 days of sick leave and 4 flex hours. Working lunches are provided on occasion to support employee health and productivity. Performance Standards & Review: All Zayed Law Offices Employees complete a 90-day probationary period in their employment to ensure that they are in the right role and in compliance with the basic position requirements. All employees have an annual review in which their professional progress in the law office is monitored.
