Registered Nurse (RN) – Swing Bed / Medical Surgical

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Projected Start: 07/20/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a swing bed unit supporting rehabilitation, wound care, physical therapy, and IV therapy needs
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for medical-surgical and swing bed patients
• Administer IV therapy and wound care treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physical therapy and other rehabilitation services
• Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility (travel requirement)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Long-term care or swing bed experience strongly preferred
• Experience with wound care, rehabilitation nursing, or IV therapy in an acute or post-acute setting
