Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Surgical Oncology (610) /Medical City Plano /Plano, TX 750757 P-7A, 3 x 12 hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours Unit Information Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month Number of Beds - 30 bed unit Number of Staff - 48 nurses/pct/huc Type of staff: Day Shift - (1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT) Night Shift - (1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT) Patient Ratios(ESTIMATED) - 1:5/1:6 Type of equipment - baxter pumps, scd machine, mobilab, glucometer EMR - meditech Must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Communication Compassion/Empathy Preferred or nice to have IV insertion Chemotherapy List typical procedures performed on unit(s) Medication administration Chest tube management NGT management Foley management
