Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across all functional areas. This position plays a key role in coordinating employee training programs, supporting benefits administration, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with recruitment and offboarding processes. Training and Development Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programs.Track and maintain training attendance records and completion data.Assist with identifying training needs and sourcing appropriate learning resources.Support managers in ensuring compliance with required certifications and professional development requirements. Benefits Administration Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Assist with open enrollment, new hire benefit orientations, and qualifying life event changes.Assist with processing benefit enrollments, terminations, and updates in HRIS systems.Ensure accurate deductions and timely resolutions of issues. HR Administration Coordinate with Human Resources Generalist on maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, files, and HRIS.Support employee offboarding by preparing exit documentation and processing terminations.Generate HR reports and assist in audits, compliance, and record retention processes.Support planning, coordination, and execution of HR-related events, including benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition programs, holiday celebrations, and retirement events.Performs other duties as assigned. Employee Support Respond to general HR inquiries and provide guidance to employees regarding policies and procedures.In collaboration with the Development Coordinator, provide front desk coverage as backup to the Office Administrator during lunch periods, committee meetings, and scheduled or unscheduled absences. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of human resources practices.Comfortable working with diverse populations.Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, databases, etc.Ability to be self-motivated.Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strict adherence to and respect for confidentiality.Ability to take initiative.Commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of SVDP.
