Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit provides specialized patient care within a high-acuity setting, supporting recovery and stabilization of patients. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and observe for clinical changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Georgia or a compact state.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Possess strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Complete all compliance and orientation requirements within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) in a fast-paced environment.
