Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs, facilitating meetings, and documenting student progress
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and best practices in special education
• Experience serving as an IEP Case Manager, monitoring compliance and collaborating with families and staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs and styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of students, overseeing the IEP process from evaluation to implementation and review
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services, and administrators to ensure supports are in place
• Maintain accurate records and monitor student progression towards IEP goals
• Act as a primary point of contact for families, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally
• Provide direct instruction and appropriate accommodations to empower student learning and participation
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of equity and inclusion
