Data Processing Operator/Data Annotator

A leading Consumer Electronics Company is seeking a Data Processing Operator/Data Annotator to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on utilizing various software tools to process visual 2D and 3D data, transforming raw data into mission-critical datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Manually test hardware and software, and report the test results.
• Operate hardware and software to perform data collection.
• Follow SOP and training documentation to ensure completed annotation meets established project standards.
• Adhere to established project standards to maintain annotation accuracy.
• Work with different software tools to process visual 2D and 3D data.
• Performs basic troubleshooting for resolving errors and/or software or hardware challenges.

Must-have skills:

• Minimum 1+ year of prior Data Annotation experience.
• Medium/Expert level operating 3D software (e.g. SketchUp, Blender, Maya, 3DS Max) and/or Game Engine such as Unreal/Unity.
• Experience using Windows PCs to create and modify documents (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
• Experience with the Ability to organize, move files, copy files, rename files, load images into the system.
• Experience using Maya and/or Houdini software programs.
• Ability to self-manage own work.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) and work with the multi-location annotation teams.
• Must be okay with repetitive work.

Nice-to-have background and skills:

• Programming/coding knowledge (especially Python).
• Art or Computer science background.
• Undergraduate degree.
• 1+ year experience working at companies like Apple, Google, Amazon, Tesla, Rivian, Microsoft, Scale AI, Waymo.

Type: Contract Duration: 12+ months Schedule: On-site (Sunnyvale, CA) Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
