Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Ascension and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, is seeking a Medical Director to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services in a collaborative environment, contributing to patient care and facility policies. Practice Info * 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility * Serves patients in need of comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies * Collaborative care model that brings together physicians, therapists, and nursing staff * Cares for a diverse patient population with complex needs, including stroke, brain injury, orthopedic conditions, and spinal cord injury Responsibilities * Provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission Compensation * Independent contractor status Benefits * Medical Director training and support * Best-in-Class compliance team Shift & Schedule * Flexible schedule
