Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and plan of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of DC or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
