Skilled Trades Coach

We're seeking an experienced skilled trades coach to work with students and professionals building careers in the trades. This role includes teaching core skills in system installation, maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and tool and equipment operation, as well as code compliance, regulatory and safety standards, and technical certifications needed to practice. Coaches also support project management, customer service, and skill building, along with guidance on business operations and marketing for those running their own trade business, and freelancing for independent work. On the career side, coaches support resume review, LinkedIn review, interview prep, salary negotiation, and networking strategy to help students land the right role. Ideal candidates have professional experience in a skilled trade, prior coaching or mentoring experience, and a clear, structured approach to breaking down technical and business concepts. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high‑quality, supportive experience for every student. Why Leland?
