Description of the Position

To support its development, Sia is recruiting Senior Data Science & AI Consultants.

You will join our team of experts to develop AI and generative AI solutions and support our clients in their digital transformation augmented by AI, particularly through the following issues:

• Data Ecosystem Management: data analysis treatment, mastery of data pipelines and associated infrastructure and tools
• Statistics and Machine Learning: development of explanatory and predictive models to aid decision-making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnostics, etc.)
• Deep Learning: intelligent processing of unstructured data such as text (Natural Language Processing), image (Computer Vision) and audio (Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech)
• Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs): design and deployment of solutions based on LLMs (GPT, Claude, Mistral, etc.), development of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) chains, creation of business conversational assistants and autonomous agents
• Operational Research: assistance in the design and implementation of constrained optimization solutions and simulation models
• Synthetic and Insightful Presentations: production of summary notes with a very good mastery of business issues, a good ability to graphically illustrate results

In the context of your operational interventions and your contributions to the internal development of the firm, you will be required to:

• Manage end-to-end projects: on which you will have a strong autonomy to ensure the success of the mission, particularly with respect to our clients in compliance with our commitments
• Supervise consultants: from junior to experienced, and fulfill the role of reference and relay of the manager for the follow-up of projects, validation of deliverables, evaluation of achievements, and above all ensure the proper development of their skills
• Manage client relations on your missions and build a solid relationship with your client counterparts: at the middle management level, so that they identify you as an expert on the subjects addressed.
• Participate in the development of the business by designing and elaborating commercial proposals: as well as identifying new opportunities for collaboration with our clients.
• Participate in technological foresight and R&D activity: within our specialized research laboratories: NLP/GenAI, Computer Vision, Times Series, Operational Research, etc.
• Participate in the firm's visibility: by actively contributing to the publication plan (articles, studies and white papers, press releases, etc.), and representing the firm in various professional clubs, trade shows and events.
• Develop and strengthen our offerings through training, teamwork, dissemination of internal and external media:

Qualifications

You hold a degree from an Engineering School or a high-level training in the field of applied mathematics, statistics, econometrics or Artificial Intelligence and you have initial experience in Data Science or AI.

You have an excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis: (theoretical and practical knowledge, intuition, ease of understanding models and applying them).

You master one or more programming languages: in particular Python and code versioning, and ideally have knowledge in API development (Flask, FastAPI), the use of a cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) or Generative AI (LangChain, LangGraph).

Knowledge of cloud provider environments: (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and in particular certifications, and industrialization techniques (CI/CD) is a plus.

You have already led end-to-end projects: and you wish to get involved and quickly take on responsibilities on high-value missions within a dynamic structure.

You have an interest in the issues related to data and AI, a capacity to quickly increase your skills on these subjects and are enthusiastic about accompanying our clients to seize the opportunities.
