Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy Needed in Shreveport, LA | Outpatient & Inpatient

  • Shift: 8-hour days, no weekends for Outpatient; IPR and Acute Care may require occasional coverage (~1/month)

  • License/Certs: Current LA PT license, BLS required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in relevant specialties
Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You'll Do:
  • Manage outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care patient caseloads independently
  • Provide therapy for patients with diverse conditions, including spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic procedures, and sports injuries
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records (EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky)
  • Support patient recovery through evidence-based therapies
  • Participate in departmental and hospital orientations to ensure compliance and quality care
What You Need:
  • Current LA PT license
  • BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in outpatient, inpatient rehab, or acute settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

The department offers a supportive team environment, with full orientation and full caseload expectations by the end of the first week. Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend coverage required, and flexibility for time off as discussed during interviews.
