Locums - Cottonwood, Arizona, Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Hospital-based Hospitalist coverage
- Current coverage needs:
- October 19, 2026
- October 23, 2026
- November 24-29, 2026
- Admit and rounding coverage
- Cerner EMR
Schedule & Coverage
- Admit shift: 8:00 am-8:00 pm
- Rounding shift: 6:30 am-6:30 pm
- Daytime ICU managed by an Intensivist; Hospitalists are not responsible for ICU coverage during day shifts
Practice Setting & Support
- Daytime specialty support includes Anesthesia, Surgery, and Interventional Radiology
- Interventional Radiology available Monday-Friday during regular business hours
- Internal Medicine residents and Rapid Response Team participate in codes
- Hospitalists are expected to attend codes involving their assigned patients
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Arizona license or IMLC pathway accepted
- DEA required
- BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe
- Drive-in candidates only
