TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active license required at submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience required. Focus on cardiac patients, including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias. Secondary focus on respiratory problems, such as COPD and pneumonia. Description: This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts. All shifts are during the day, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Every other weekend is required. Holidays may be needed as well. Floating to different areas may be required as needed. Initial travelers are welcome. Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates should have experience in managing cardiac telemetry patients. The focus is primarily on cardiac issues and secondarily on respiratory issues. Patient diagnoses include heart failure, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and pneumonia. The unit has a daily census of approximately 30 patients. Support services available include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam, with two attempts allowed. Modules will be completed during orientation. Module hours are unit-based and will vary.
