As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures. Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments as directed, coordinate access for authorized drivers and vendors, and report unauthorized or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated interior areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
