The Bartender may have elevated knowledge as a mixologist, sommelier, and will assist with growing the beverage program and assisting management in day-to-day operations. The Little Grand has several bar operations both indoors and outdoors that the Bartender will be expected to work, including but not limited to The Little Grand Bar, Seven Sisters Patio, Bada, Events, satellite and mobile beverage stations. We are hiring a part-time, seasonal bartender to support our busy summer and fall season from both a volume and events operations basis.REPORTS TO: Guest Experience ManagerRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDuties will include, but are not limited to, the following:Interacting with guests in a welcoming, personable, and professional manner.Taking orders and preparing both alcoholic beverages and food items.Present bills, accept payments, and operate the POS system.Ability to remain calm while listening to guest concerns and complaints.Restock and replenish inventory as the shift progresses.Comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures.Being a rad co-worker, teammate, and leader, while remaining empowered to make decisions.Assuring the guests 5 senses are satisfied: good smells, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a clean, vibin’ atmosphere.Other duties as assigned.SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMust be 21 years of age or over.Must have Availability to work 2-3 shifts per week, day and/or evening hours, Thursday through Sunday.Eagerness to learn and expand on beverage knowledge.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment.
