Video Security Specialist

Salary: $37,730.4 - 37,730.4 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with experience in a similar position, ideally in a security monitoring center or law enforcement dispatch setting.
• We require a high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security, surveillance, or law enforcement are a plus.
• CPR certification or first-aid training is preferred.
• We need strong familiarity with video surveillance systems and video management platforms such as Milestone, Samsara, and Safety Vision.
• Knowledge of eForce software is preferred.
• You should understand local laws and regulations related to security and surveillance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• You must stay calm and professional under pressure.
• You should be able to interpret and relay internal policies, procedures, and protocols accurately.
• Attention to detail is critical, especially for documenting and reporting incidents.
• You need to be able to organize records, systems, and projects effectively.
• Experience using two-way radios and communication console equipment is important.
• You must thrive in a fast-paced team environment and be able to multitask while making quick decisions in urgent situations.
• You must successfully pass a thorough background investigation conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
• Regular and dependable attendance is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

• We monitor security cameras in real time and respond quickly to suspicious or criminal activity.
• We receive calls and support law enforcement agencies as needed.
• We document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes accurately in a centralized database.
• We monitor alarms, notifications, and analytics through our current video management system.
• We build and maintain positive working relationships across our organization and with public agencies.
