HiFyve is hiring an Analytical Chemist in the manufacturing technology industry in Kettering, OH!

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Location: Kettering, OH

Position Overview:

Join an innovative, fast-growing technology company working at the forefront of advanced materials and battery development. This is a hands-on lab role where you'll operate cutting-edge analytical equipment, support R&D efforts, and play a direct role in developing next-generation materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, FTIR, XRD, SEM/EDS, Raman, UV-Vis, etc.)
Perform material testing, data collection, and analysis
Follow and help develop SOPs and lab protocols
Support research projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment performance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Hands-on experience with analytical lab instrumentation
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of materials characterization techniques
Ability to follow structured processes and work independently
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
2-4 years of hands-on laboratory experience
