Location 3801 Creek Road,Dripping Springs, TX, 78620,United States Base Pay $17.00 - $19.00 / Hour Manage Others No Description Primary Job Duties: Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and tableware used during banquet events, adhering to health and safety regulations. Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash items as needed, ensuring all dishes and kitchen tools are spotless and properly stored. Trash and Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with environmental standards and maintain a clean and organized disposal area. Support for Kitchen Staff: Assist the culinary team by providing clean utensils and equipment as requested during food preparation and service. Inventory Maintenance: Help monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials, reporting needs to the Sous Chef or Manager. Ensure that work areas, storage areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and safe, promoting a positive and efficient work environment. Assisting with Setup and Breakdown: Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all areas are prepared for service and cleaned up afterward. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the health and safety of oneself and team members. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus. Experience: Some experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred, particularly in a banquet or catering context. Teamwork Skills: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to kitchen dynamics. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to take direction effectively. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Summary The Banquets Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the banquetkitchen and dining areas at Camp Lucy. This position plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team byensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining ware are properly cleaned, sanitized, and readyfor use.
