Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Mental Health Therapist II, III, or Licensed - Posting #26359 Hourly Range: $28.68 - $35.35 Position Summary Sea Mar Behavioral Health is seeking a full‑time Mental Health Therapist for placement at the local Low Income Housing Institute housing program at Aventine Apartments in Bellevue, WA. The therapist provides individual therapy, case management, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, and may lead groups. They also provide referrals and coordinate with a diverse team of providers and community partners, accurately diagnosing mental health issues and developing treatment plans based on diagnoses. Licensed Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties. Provide care to chronically ill patients, intensive outpatient program patients, and high utilizers. Work with CDMHPs, inpatient facilities, including Western State Hospital, ensuring proper hospitalization authorization and discharge planning. Deliver individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans. Lead groups and provide therapy to managed care patients pre‑authorized for mental health treatment. Supervise other clinicians pursuing licensing requirements. Assist Program Manager and clinical supervisor with chart reviews. Support agency efforts to ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts. Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited institution with coursework in psychological diagnostics. Four or more years of clinical experience. Active Washington State Department of Health license meeting criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Must hold a Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License. Mental Health Therapist III Responsibilities: Diagnose, refer for psychiatric services, and case manage in coordination with other teams. Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans. Lead groups. Assist Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks. Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with diagnostic coursework. Four or more years of experience. Active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (may be pending up to 60 days if applied for within 7 days of offering employment) or mental health Associate License. Mental Health Therapist II Responsibilities: Diagnose, refer for psychiatric services, and case manage. Provide individual/group counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, treatment plans, and professional consultations. Assist Program Manager with program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACS and RCWS, and other administrative tasks. Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with diagnostic coursework. Up to three years of experience. Minority mental health therapist as required by WAC. Active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License. Additional Requirements (all levels) Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire and throughout employment. Pass a TB test annually and at time of hire.
