Equine Veterinarian – Louisiana.

We are looking for an associate veterinarian to provide high quality sports medicine during Thoroughbred racing meets. These duties will include a large volume of lameness evaluations/treatments, endoscopic respiratory exams, pre-race medication and general veterinary care. Our client operates a full service equine hospital that is available for referral surgical and medical procedures. There are other veterinarians in the practice whose primary responsibilities are in the racetrack division. The new veterinarian will work with these veterinarians and participate with them in the emergency rotation. The practice has a long history of providing services to the racehorses of South Louisiana. The practice provides the delivery of the highest quality of services. The practice offers cutting edge services with a wide array of equipment and expertise to deliver quality care to patients. There is a large caseload and a positive work environment. There will be some travel during race meet. The practice encourages their veterinarians to be creative and hardworking while giving them support to be successful both personally and professionally.
