Class B Truck Driver
Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class B Delivery Drivers in Ashland VA for a temp-to-hire opportunity! Starting May 18th.
Pay rate is $25 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday. No weekend work! This is 1st shift, starting at 5AM, roughly 10-12 hours a day.
Position Overview
-Delivering kidney dialysis products to clinics, hospitals, and homes.
-Operating an automatic, 26-foot tandem and single axle box truck.
-Un/loading is required. Must have touch freight delivery experience.
-Local routes. Home daily, except for being available for at least one overnight trip a week. Company will pay for hotel and provides a meal allowance.
Miscellaneous
-Excellent customer service skills are required.
-Training is all "hands-on" for 5-6 weeks, with one week of computer training.
-Proper and thorough pre and post trips are crucial.
-Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive.
-Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules.
Qualifications
-Valid Class B license.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable Class B delivery driving experience.
-Valid DOT Medical Card.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
