Responsibilities
- Provide NICU respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and therapy adjustments per physician orders.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with neonatology staff, nurses, and physicians to optimize respiratory treatments and patient outcomes.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and sanitize respiratory equipment and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
- Deliver bedside procedures and therapies (e.g., aerosolized medications) as indicated for neonatal patients.
- Support patient transport when required and participate in handoffs with receiving teams.

Requirements
- Active Georgia Respiratory Therapist license (RRT)
- NBRC-RRT certification (RRT)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and Neonatal delivery experience
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting; travel assignment required; no local candidates within 50 miles
