Overview Are you an experienced Senior Environmental Specialist with expertise in asbestos, lead-based paint, PCB, and mold investigations? This is your opportunity to lead complex environmental projects from hazardous building materials assessments through abatement design and construction administration. You’ll develop detailed abatement plans and technical specifications, support regulatory compliance, review contractor documentation, respond to RFIs, and coordinate directly with clients and agencies—owning projects from investigation through successful project completion. If you’re ready to expand your technical leadership, take on high-impact environmental remediation work, and make a meaningful impact on public health and safety, we encourage you to apply today and take the next step in your environmental career. Prepare hazardous waste management plans aligned with federal, state, and local regulations and requirements, including 6 NYCRR Parts 360, 364, and 370–373. Serve as technical lead for major project phases, applying independent judgment in regulatory interpretation and problem resolution. Provide construction administration support, including submittal review, request for information responses, contractor coordination, and regulatory agency communication. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Support proposal development, cost estimating, and business development initiatives. Mentor and guide junior environmental staff to strengthen technical capability and team growth. Requirements What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 5+ years of experience in hazardous building materials, environmental compliance, or asbestos consulting. Dedicated to fostering trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity and respect. Deliver high-quality work using critical thinking, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills. Proactively own projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment. Curious and improvement-minded, embracing feedback and continuously seeking better solutions.
