The Opportunity We are currently seeking a dedicated Unit Secretary What You Will Do Serve as the primary administrative support for the nursing unit Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls appropriately Maintain accurate and organized resident charts, including filing physician orders, lab results, and documentation Enter resident information and updates into the electronic medical records (EMR) system Prepare admission and discharge paperwork and ensure records are complete and up to date Maintain inventory of office and medical forms; order supplies as needed Assist with scheduling and tracking appointments, labs, and consultations Schedule resident transportation wherever necessary What You Must Have Prior experience as a Unit Secretary, Medical Office Assistant, or similar clerical role in a healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Benefits - Things we want you to know We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) managed by Merrill Lynch DailyPay Health Insurance with Anthem Blue Cross or Cigna Dental, Life, Vision, and Disability Insurance Paid Time OffContinuing Education Credits Career advancement opportunities! #J-18808-Ljbffr
