Position Title: Packer Wage: $14.70 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Thurs) This company is a narrow web printing, distribution, warehouse and fulfillment center under one roof and is looking for a Press Operator. In addition to the equipment and expertise to produce a wide range of labels and forms construction, this company provides imaging, printing, distribution and warehousing capabilities supported by 55,000 sq. ft. of racked finished good storage capacity. Packer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Count and verify the correct number of products per bundle for each order. - Operate shrink wrap machines to secure products. - Conduct quality inspections of poly-wrapped bundles. - Build boxes and pack bundles into boxes in an organized manner. - Run full boxes through automatic taping machines. - Review daily job plans to understand product specifications, destination, and production targets. Packer Requirements: - Proven work history with several years of solid experience, detailed on a comprehensive resume. - Accurate math and reading comprehension skills. - Punctuality and attendance are critical, with a strict 3-strike policy. - Team-oriented with keen attention to detail. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout an 8- to 12-hour shift. - Repetitive reaching, bending, lifting, and hand/wrist/shoulder motions. - Prolonged standing during entire shifts.
