About the Position

Job Title: RN Burn Profession: RN Burn Specialty: RN Burn Duration: 13 weeks Shift: DNR - 12x3 - 07,19 Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required. 1+ years of travel experience required. License: BLS certification required. Certifications: N/A Must-Have: 2+ years of ICU experience. 1+ years of travel experience. Description: The position involves caring for adult patients, including complex surgical and acutely ill medical patients. The patient population includes burns, although thermal burns comprise a minority of the cases. The unit operates under a closed ICU model. All patients are cared for by a consistent team of professionals. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are the primary ICU care providers. They are supported by admitting surgical teams and consultants. The care model includes a multispecialty team approach. This model is designed with responding clinicians supervised by in-house attending ICU staff physicians available 24/7. Critical care fellows are also part of the supportive team.
