Duties, Responsibilities & Other Experience: 4+ years overall survey experience, 4+ years as survey party chief; required experience with ALTA, topographic and construction surveys. TXDOT survey and SUE experience is a plus. Skills: Knowledge of field equipment operation, communication, field note taking, good math skills; ability to work as a one‑man crew as needed and to travel nationally. Duties: Supervise survey crew, keep field notes, communicate with office staff, train subordinates; operate robotic instrument, total station, data collector, GPS (fast static, RTK and VRS), autolevel; download data into computers each night. Other: Valid driver’s license, good work ethic, willing to travel, reliable, able to lift up to 50 pounds, able to work more than 40 hours a week as necessary; travel up to 12 days as projects dictate. Qualifications Education/Skills Required: Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, High School Diploma or GED. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license; ability to maintain required certifications. Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
