• JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
  
  • Facilitates problem and conflict resolution regarding hospital and physician accounts of patients and staff of Samaritan Health Services.
• DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
  
  • The Regional Business Office is responsible for the accurate and timely follow-up on claims for services provided at all lines of business in all service locations.
• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College preferred.
  • Three (3) years experience in healthcare billing required.
  • Experience or training in computer applications required.
  • Hospital and Physician billing/collection experience preferred.
  • Experience or training in billing compliance and basic coding preferred.
