Travel CT Technologist - $2,599 per week

Overview Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Detroit, Michigan. Responsibilities Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Performs imaging procedures following radiation protection principles and ALARA practices, including shielding patients and selecting appropriate equipment settings to reduce dose. Assists Radiologist in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies. Resolves image exceptions and ensures high-quality image delivery into PACS; views images in PACS and confirms image/series counts. Completes study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS); records begin and end times and study completion. Reviews and confirms with Radiologist clinical protocols before performing studies. Demonstrates team standards of excellence (AIDET, open communication, timely responses, positive attitude, innovation, respect for diversity). Documents in the medical record and in the radiology information system to support clinical and billing functions. Requirements / Qualifications Required: ARRT CT Certification; prior general radiography experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and hold the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or be registry-eligible. Required Certification & Licensure: BLS. Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined by HFHS. Schedule Shift: 12 hours, nights; 3x12s, 6p-6a; 13-week contract length; 36 hours per week. Shift and hours may be overnight and block scheduling; 3 days a week. Education Required Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
