About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Annual and Special Giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure annual and special gifts in support of the organization's mission. This role involves leading a team to identify, cultivate, and solicit donors, as well as managing the stewardship of donor relationships. The Executive Director will work closely with senior leadership to set and achieve fundraising goals, and will be instrumental in creating a culture of philanthropy within the organization. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on annual and special giving. A deep understanding of donor engagement and stewardship is essential. The role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred, in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will have experience in a nonprofit or academic medical setting and a passion for the mission of the organization.
