Emergency Department Technician - BONUS ELIGIBLE

Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, assists with clinical and patient care activities in the Emergency Department. Minimum Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess one of the following:
- Current certification to practice as a paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
- Current National Registry Certification as a paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
- Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
- Three years of equivalent clinical work experience.
- Completion of a nurse internship program in an Emergency care setting and enrollment to begin fourth year of an accredited Bachelor's Nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Two years of direct patient care experience.
- Phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (EKG) experience.
- Emergency Department and/or pre-hospital care experience.
