(eligible after 1yr of 1000 hours worked)As a Resident Aide here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitalsWork with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient careHelp with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intakeAssist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercisesCheck vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changesObserve patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipmentA few must-haves for Resident Aides:High school diploma (or equivalent)6 Months of previous adult caregiving OR completion of a CNA course (must provide professional references to verify experience OR certificate of completion of CNA class).Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulationsCompassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs#staffingWhy Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare Staffing is the nation’s first healthcare staffing company and a leading employer of Resident Aides (RAs).
