LPN Opportunity At Medical Center Pediatrics

Medical Center Pediatrics is seeking a Full Time LPN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular), and assisting with examinations and procedures as directed.
• Accurately document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, treatments, and responses.
• Assist with patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as ordered.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Assist with phone triage and prescription refills under the direction of a physician or registered nurse.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of MI.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred (office experience a plus).
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
