About the Role Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio location in the Marine on Saint Croix, MN area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP! Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. While webcam requests make up only a small percentage, most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or are willing to travel to students in the Marine on Saint Croix, MN area. You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20‑$30 per hour, depending on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, as well as your own curriculum/lesson plans! We handle the advertising, marketing, SEO and billing to help lighten your load so you can focus on the music. Responsibilities Teach piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Develop curriculum and lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. Travel to students' homes or conduct in‑person lessons at student home/studio. Maintain communication with the office and keep lesson records. Adhere to COVID‑19 precautions: wear mask, sanitize hands, practice social distancing. Qualifications Formal music training not mandatory but: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required. Great with kids and love teaching. Organized, punctual, and good at communication.
