Category Manager - IT (Las Vegas)

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing department is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Category Manager to spearhead the end-to-end sourcing processes for Corporate Hardware, Software, SaaS, Enterprise Security and related services. If you are ready to create some magic, we invite you to explore our dynamic, yet unique, career opportunities.Extensive experience in effective collaboration, influence, and communication with internal clients and external suppliersProven experience to analyze complex information and data sets, apply critical thinking, and achieve successful outcomes through negotiationExpertise in drafting and redlining professional services and software agreements, with experience of contract language and termsProficiency with a variety of tools and technologies, including productivity, collaboration, and contract management software, and quick adaptability to new systems and workflows with a focus on continuous improvementCommercial negotiation acumen, evidenced by a track record of securing favorable terms and managing complex contractsProven organizational and prioritization skillsFamiliarity with the complexities of Tech Sourcing, particularly networking hardware, software, services and associated agreementsAdditional Requirements:5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting within technology categoriesBachelor’s or similar degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related technical field required, MBA preferred.Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with business and technical stakeholders to design and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, performance, and riskTranslate complex technical requirements into commercial strategies, leading the full sourcing lifecycle—category planning, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance managementLead robust RFx processes including market assessments, supplier identification, competitive bidding, stakeholder alignment, scoring methodologies, negotiations, and award recommendationsPerform advanced market and benchmark analysis to drive continuous improvement in pricing, service levels, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Track market dynamics and execute cost‑optimization initiativesOwn contract development and negotiation for all IT‑related agreements (MSAs, SOWs, order forms, amendments), ensuring alignment across Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance and Regulatory.Anticipate and mitigate project risks by proactively identifying issues, driving cross‑functional alignment, and ensuring timely resolution.Drive value creation by balancing business requirements with technical and operational considerations to deliver optimal outcomesMaintain expertise in IT sourcing, vendor management, industry best practices, and emerging technology trends, serving as a strategic advisor to internal partnersContinuously assess supplier capabilities, develop supplier strategies, and expand competitive supplier portfoliosStrengthen cross‑functional collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, Cybersecurity, Legal, and other internal teams to support enterprise‑wide procurement goalsPosting Date: 2026-07-07
