Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Diagnostic Imaging required.

License: NYS license in Radiography & certification to inject contrast media required.

Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography & Computed Tomography required.

Must-Have: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Radiography program required. Maintains continuing education credits as per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements. Recent relevant experience in CT preferred. Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software required.

Description: This position entails performing CT imaging procedures. The CT Tech will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality care. Proficient skills required include 3D rendering, abdominal scans with and without contrast, and various types of studies such as coronary CTA and brain perfusion. Familiarity with different types of equipment and software is essential. Utilizing radiation safety practices is important to ensure patient and staff safety. Responsibilities include patient interaction, administration of contrast media, and accurate imaging documentation. Supporting a diverse patient demographic requires adaptability and professionalism. Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams is expected. The CT Tech must adhere to established protocols and standards of care.
