Battery Validation Technician Hayward, California Contract Title: Battery Validation Technician Description: Role Title: Failure Analysis Technician Schedule: 8-5 Title: Battery Validation Technician Description: Role Title: Failure Analysis Technician Schedule: 8-5 OVERVIEW: In this role, you'll support cell technology development by assisting with failure analysis, equipment maintenance, and battery testing. You'll collaborate with engineers to refine analysis methods, maintain lab equipment, and ensure efficient battery characterization. THIS IS WHAT YOULL DO: - Assist engineers with conducting battery failure analysis and reporting findings. - Lead routine lab characterization of battery materials and maintain detailed records of collected data. - Support and perform battery teardowns, adhering to safety protocols. - Manage and maintain lab equipment, ensuring readiness for analysis and troubleshooting basic issues. - Monitor lab operations to ensure smooth functionality and collaborate with engineers to resolve equipment performance challenges. - Assist in updating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for battery characterization and testing to improve workflow efficiency. - Collaborate with engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot characterization equipment, reporting issues for resolution.
