Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated team devoted to high-quality patient care. Description of Responsibilities

  • Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, ensuring clear explanations of every step
  • Work in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to produce superior diagnostic images
  • Manage and maintain all imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the electronic medical system
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

  • Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

  • Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
