Cardiovascular Technician

Role: Cardiology technician performing patient care and diagnostic tests. Conducts electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, and monitors cardiac activity. Reviews provider orders, educates patients, prepares equipment, positions patients, analyzes results, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Monitors patient condition, reports changes, and ensures equipment cleanliness and functionality. Assists in training new staff and students. Qualifications & Skills: Certified as a Cardiographic Technician or EKG Technician, with relevant certifications (e.g., NCET, CEKT). Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and current BLS certification. Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties: Perform ancillary tests, educate patients, analyze test quality, monitor patient status, maintain equipment, and support team training. This onsite role requires night shifts.
