OR Certified Surgical Tech – ENT/Plastics Coordinator Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth, TX – Hospital leading surgical care, requires a skilled OR Certified Surgical Tech to support a broad range of procedural specialties. Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and the charge nurse, and direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for: Providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures. Organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency. Setting up sterile field and instruments according to guidelines for designated procedures. Utilizing the Electronic Health Care Record system. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification: Certification in OR Technology (required), BLS (required). Specific Job Experience: Experience preferred (1 year), but not required.
